We have accomplished so much with your help, but the work continues!

With your help, we have done some great work this year. We have hosted political education events for people of all ages, distributed books, provided stipends to help criminalized survivors survive inflation, led direct action trainings, assisted activists with mental health safety planning and so much more. We have provided material support to homeless encampments and helped groups in Chicago, and around the country, troubleshoot and access the resources they need. With your support, we were able to send solar panels, generators and a car full of power tools and supplies to organizers in Louisiana after Hurricane Ida. We have organized in defense of trans lives. We have provided emergency funds to keep criminalized survivors housed and to meet the needs of disabled activists in our area. We have also created artistic opportunities for political communion. Much of our work happens in the background, but if you ask around about us, you will hear that what we do is essential. But we need your help to keep doing it. Lifted Voices is an all BIPOC collective of queer organizers and educators who are committed to the work of organizing and making change. Please help this work continue.
